Brentwood Keeps on Smiling with new dentist in Town

2nd November 2022 | Mark Mannering

Mass & Co are pleased to report that the former Saint Francis Hospice store at the western end of the Brentwood High Street has been leased to Smile HQ, a new high end cosmetic dentist.

Smile HQ will open in the new year after an extensive fit out.

Saint Francis Hospice closed this former store earlier this year after securing a larger unit (the former Carpetright store) in the High Street last year, where Mass & Co assisted with the leasing.

Mass & Co further report that following this letting there are now only a few vacant retail units remaining in the High Street. Brentwood's High Street, like many around the country, is evolving with a greater diversity of users which have been encouraged by the recent changes to the Use Classes Order. The new Class E which came into effect in 2020 permits retail spaces to be used for variety of uses including restaurant, cafes, clinics, health centres and gyms without the need for change of use consent.

As demand for vacant spaces continues in the town Mass & Co are seeking more properties to offer. Please contact Mark Mannering for more information: email mark.mannering@massandco.com
